Tales from the epicentre
Organization:
Nepali Times

2015
Eight months since the 25 April earthquake in Nepal, most of Barpak’s 15,000 residents continue to live in flimsy shelters even as the temperature dips to minus at night. Rebuilding houses has been agonisingly slow and rubble from collapsed structures are piled up in the town. Despite the gloomy outlook, locals are committed to rebuilding Barpak into an even better town.
I visited the epicentre of the earthquake and captured these photographs for the Nepali Times.
